Our approach

A considered approach

  1. 01Establish the stage of the case and any urgent hearing or deadline.
  2. 02Examine the allegation, evidence and instructions in confidence.
  3. 03Agree preparation and representation appropriate to the proceeding.

First enquiry

Useful information to bring

  • Charge, summons or notice received
  • Court dates and existing orders
  • Relevant messages, documents and witness details

Please do not send confidential material until the team has confirmed the appropriate way to share it.

Preparation at each procedural stage

We begin with the allegation, the current stage and the immediate decision required. Arrest, bail, investigation, trial and post-judgment remedies raise different questions. A clear chronology and an organised record of orders, statements and exhibits help identify what can properly be challenged and what further evidence is needed.

Evidence, instructions and hearing priorities

Representation requires candid instructions and careful attention to lawful procedure. We examine inconsistencies and missing records without promising a particular outcome or encouraging interference with witnesses or evidence. If specialist forensic or technical analysis is needed, its scope and the relevant professional are identified separately.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if a hearing or arrest concern is urgent?

Contact the chamber promptly with the case number, allegation, court, hearing date and available orders. Do not assume that an email enquiry means representation has been accepted. The immediate options depend on the facts, stage and applicable law.

Can bail be guaranteed?

No. Bail depends on the offence, procedural stage, available grounds, evidence and the court’s decision. We assess the papers and prepare the relevant application and supporting material where an instruction is accepted.

What documents are useful for a criminal case review?

Relevant records may include the complaint or FIR, charge sheet, orders, bail papers, statements, exhibits and previous applications. Preserve originals and a chronology of dates. Confidential material should be shared only through the agreed channel after checks.

Can a business dispute also involve criminal proceedings?

Only where the facts satisfy the elements of an offence and procedural requirements. A contractual disagreement does not automatically justify a criminal complaint. We distinguish civil recovery, criminal allegations and any parallel proceedings before advising on a course.

Can I challenge a conviction or procedural order?

The available appeal, revision or other application depends on the order, court, grounds and applicable time limits. A review requires the relevant judgment and record. Seek advice promptly and retain proof of receipt and certified-copy steps.
